RESIDENTIAL METAL ROOFING

In recent news,  The National Roofing Contractors Association made a statement claiming metal roofing material has been on an accelerated growth projection  over the past twelve years.  This indicative of an approval rating from building owners and builders alike.  People are slowly becoming more aware of this product’s phenomenal benefits.   Commercial One Roofing is your best contractor for Metal Roofing products and professional installation.

In the past two decades, an entirely new industry of metal roofing material has plowed its way onto the roofing market. The technology behind the materials we have available currently, make the old tin roof idea sound similar to using a tarp.  Building engineers and home builders have been asking for a lighter weight easier to install a roofing system that lasts longer than the competition, and the market responded overwhelmingly positive!

Why would you want a metal roof?  They're fire-resistant, super durable, lightweight, go together faster than 90% of the other roofing systems, and the newest designs look like they're on the top end of luxury roofing systems.  In addition to the significant aspects of the material itself, they're great at reflecting heat coming from the scorching California sun.  The thermal characteristics of metal roofing have shown an impressive drop in electrical bills by allowing the AC units more time to rest.

Metal roofing is available in many different materials, but the main ones are listed:

    copper
    aluminum
    steel
    also, various alloys

Be sure to have an idea what type of style you're interested in, and our expert staff will assist with the different materials available to match the style.  There are many different shapes, sizes, colors, and materials to use.  The main style will come in sheets, and there are also shingled metal roofing systems.  The latest type of metal roofing to hit the market is shingle looking sheets, which give the appearance of shingles without the chance of a shingle ever coming loose!

Commercial One Roofing will be glad to assist you with the perfect roofing system for your home or business.

The most highly economical and versatile version of metal roofing is steel roofing.  Metal roofing made of steel comes in many different sizes, and these steel roofing systems all paint to adhere to them quite well and are usually quite durable.  A lot of these roofing systems come in galvanized steel which has added protection against premature degradation. Aluminum Roofing is quite soft. Using Aluminum means it is more prone to damage, dings, and scratches. Based on the current market aluminum is also more expensive than steel. Aluminum does have a much slower corrosion rate vs. steel.  This corrosion resistance factor keeps the roof leak free longer even if it incurs damage, scratches, dings, and dents.
