ROOFING WINCHESTER
We haven't forgotten about Winchester CA. This town is bit rural and more sprawled out with a population of 2,534 in 2010. The community had bumped up roughly 400 people since the year 2000.
In 1886 Winchester was formed from a section of Pleasant Valley in what was then a part of San Diego County. The widowed wife of Horace Winchester, Mrs. Amy Winchester, was the name in which the Winchester town was derived. Most of Winchester was rural throughout most of its history. Agricultural businesses and farms including the great Winchester Cheese Company thrived in Winchester for a long time, but have since closed the doors. Winchester experienced accelerated growth during the housing boom of the early-mid 2000s. However, the population growth was temporary, when the housing bubble burst hit, and it all came to screeching halt in 2007. The population is slowly beginning to climb around Winchester, and we'll be a part of the expansion of homes in the area. |
